"Rohingya" militants attempt to abduct 5 indigenous Tanchangya men in Naikhyongchari
Bangladesh army backed "Rohingya" militant group ARSA is brandishing their weapons in Bandarban district of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Bangladesh army harbors, funds, trains and equips "Rohingya" militant organizations like ARSA, RSO and other Islamic terror groups in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
On November 18, 2025, Bangladesh army backed "Rohingya" militants or ARSA members tried to abduct 5 Tanchangya workers from Garjanabonia Para adjacent to Ward No. 8 of Ghumdhum Union. The Tanchangya victims of the abduction attempt are:
Jinyau Tanchangya (50), son of late Aungjain Tanchangya
Aungchimang Tanchangya (47), son of Chinglau Tanchangya
Mangpuching Tanchangya (50)
Barikya Tanchangya (25), son of Mongchaching Tanchangya
Lamangcha Tanchangya (22), son of Uchingla Tanchangya.
The Tanchangya villagers went to work as daily laborers to collect bamboo for Abdu Salam’s betel farm on the side of Abdu Kalabagan of Hijlya Canal in Garjanbania Para. When they reached the betel field with bamboo at around 4 pm, 5 armed ARSA members suddenly emerged from the jungle and apprehended the Tanchangya day laborers.
The ARSA militants tried to capture 2 young people from among 5 Tanchangya villagers. But the wife of the owner of the betel farm said that if they were abducted, they would be blamed and there would be problems. After much pleading by the wife of the owner of the betel farm, the ARSA members later released the 5 Tanchangyas including the two youths.
